"Jet"
Jet
Wardancer is a foundation stallion of the first order in the AQHA. The four preceeding
generations of Jet Wardancer's pedigree contain nine of the most influential and
successful stallions in the history of the AQHA. Jet was sired by Gay Wardancer
by Otoe. Jet's grand dam on the top side is the immeasurable Gay Widow, sired
by King P-234 by Zantanon and Jabalina. Gay Widow was an excellent halter mare
and reiner who foaled the Superior Gay Bar King and grand dams of Gay Bar Kin,
Jr. These two sires still influence the performance horses of today. King, the
name says it all, everyone who ever came into contact with King wanted to own
him. His descendants still lead performance horses of all kinds. Jet's great grand
sire, Sugar Bars, AAA on the track and sire of numerous AQHA Champions and racehorses,
was sired by the inestimable Three Bars. Lady Bugs Moon, Jet Wardancer's great-grand
sire on the bottom side, won $191,573.00 on the track and ran second in the 1968
All American Futurity. Top Moon, who sired Lady Bugs Moon, also sired Bugs Alive
in 75 and Moon Lark; both of which won All American Futurity, and 799 sons and
daughters who earned a Register of Merit. Other well known horses in the first
four generations of Jet Wardancer's pedigree are Leo, Leo Bob, Sorrel Salty Miss,
and Retta McCue. Jet Wardancer has the great confirmation of King and Sugar Bars,
and the quiet disposition of King and passes all these great attributes and bloodlines
on to his offspring.
