"J.J." is a super all around speed event horse and doubles as a babysitter/teacher. He is a winner at barrels, straights, and poles.
He is super gentle, quiet and easy to ride. He is gentle enough for a beginner and will rate his speed to help take care of the rider. He will babysit a beginner in any event, step up to the 3D with a novice, or take his rider to the top of the 2D's if he or she is ready to go to the next level. He has plenty of speed for the advanced rider. He is capable of running 21's in poles and 8's in straights. He is not a barrel hitter and has a super automatic pattern in all events! He is very attractive, friendly, and fun to be around. He is TOO much fun to ride bareback with the sweetest rocking chair lop to keep any rider aboard. The grandkids and their friends crawl up his back legs and use his tail to "rock climb" up on him without the help of an adult! He will stand at the gate, fence, tailgate or anywhere for his rider to climb aboard. He is 14.1 hands with a stocky, easy to keep build. He bathes, ties and hauls well.
UPDATES:
*2007 rodeo season: J.J. earns a check in every run in barrels and poles that our granddaughter, Tori, has taken him to. His consistency and speed are paying off for her!
*2007 NBHA District 17: *J.J. brings home the money again securing our 8 year old granddaughter the reserve champion belt buckle in the 2007 NBHA District 17 3D Youth Barrels title!

*2007 Playday Finals at Paris: J.J. is ridden by our 7 year old grandson, Gatz (a novice rider), and Gatz runs his first 9 in the straights and pulls in clean, consistent runs in the barrels, poles, & straights...jumps up several places in the standings and wins a belt buckle in the top 10!
*2006: J.J. brings home the points needed for the NBHA 2D saddle for our 15 year old grandson, Levi.
*2006: J.J. helps Levi and Tori bring home the All-Around Title - they both win Josey Ultimate Trophy Barrel Saddles!
*2006 NBHA - New Boston: J.J. is ridden by a 16 year old novice barrel racer and beats our daughter on her 1D horse by 1/100th of a second!

Email from J.J.'s new family:
"Hello Mr. Foster and Family
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! We wanted to thank you Mr. Foster for meeting us in Shreve Port LA. because of that we got to stop and rest for a while:) We also wanted to let you know J.J. did fine on his trip to Florida;) We did end up hitting a lot of rain so we really appreciate that blanket! He loaded and unloaded several times and was very quiet despite the long trip;) He is settling in here and enjoyed another ligament massage after his trip;) This morning he met Gabriella his new owner :) She was so excited !!!!!! We asked her Christmas Eve what she really really wanted. She said J.J. We then asked her how Santa would get him here seeing as how he is so big and is all the way in Texas she replied well.............he can HAVE HIM FLOWN HERE ON A AIR PLANE then she giggled. She woke up at least four times to check to see if there was a new horse in the barn;) Then woke up at six a.m. and read SANTA'S NOTE, and like lighting, bolted out of the house towards the trailer, were she found J.J tied wearing her new barrel saddle;) She then rode him out front to show the family her NEW BARREL HORSE (such a big girl;)!! He was awesome with her she was sitting up so straight shoulders back taking him and turning him through every hedge and tree she could find with the biggest grin I have ever seen on her face;) So far they seem really good together;) I will send some pictures shortly;)
Thank you again we will keep you posted on their progress;)"
