"Popeye" (our granddaughter, Tori's, best friend) is a grandson of Colonel Freckles. He runs completely automatic patterns and will babysit the little ones. He is everything and more and our granddaughter loves him. She has already won a saddle, numerous buckles, money, and tons of other prizes on this horse. We don't believe in the cloning of any of God's animals, but this one - we'd love to have a few more like him! He is special. Thank you to the Chapman family from Oklahoma for sending us this horse.
*SOLD*
Congratulations Reno family -
New Mexico
Email on 12/15/08 from new owners one week after purchasing Popeye:
"Hi Amy,
Just a quick note to let you know that Popeye is doing great!!! On Saturday he went a little fast for her, and she has not had much time with him, so I put a snaffle bit in his mouth with a little shank and a loose tie down. That slowed him down to a perfect speed and I am sure after a week or so more I will take it all off. On Sunday she won 2nd in the flags, 2nd in the barrels, 1st in the poles, and 5th in th goats. Her goat run was slow because for some reason she hung on his side for a while and he just stood there. Attached are some pictures. Please share with your daughter. Thanks so much.
Have a great day!
Brady

Way to go Weslynn (only 4 years old!)

Sunny is a really nice Flaming Jet bred gelding. He really runs and rates the barrels nice, has easy turns with no buttons to push. When he gets to a barrel he is looking for it and wants to turn. He is smooth and easy to ride, most any one can ride him. He warms up and rides like a western pleasure horse, not spooky, no issues. This horse can really run and is ready to be ask for more speed and ready to be hauled. No known vices, very attractive, perfect age. This Beduino and Flaming Jet bred gelding should have the whole world in his future.

"Billy" is a babysitter, junior rodeo and open jackpot horse all in one! He does all the events...barrels, poles, straights, flags, goats, breakaway - you name it. He is completely automatic and will only go the speed the child or adult wants to go. He is leading the 2D saddle (being ridden by our 14 year old son) in the NBHA competing against 2 of the this year's top 20 Josey Jr. World finalists - so the competition is tough! He runs 21's in the poles with our 14 year old or will go as slow as a beginner needs. Absolutely NO vices. He loads, clips, ties, pickets, comes to you to catch him, easy keeper, the whole package. He has great feet and legs and is completely sound - recently x-rayed and vet checked completely sound - vet said he was "like a rock". He has taken 2 younger riders to the pay window and has won numerous buckles, money and other prizes. He is also ridden by our 6 year old and she has won money, buckles, breast colors, halters, headstalls, and numerous other prizes all in their first year together! You can ride him bareback, double, tripple, he doesn't care. He will take care of his riders - no matter the age. No spook in him. He has always seemed to have a keen sense of the level of ability of his rider. His conformation and disposition are what every child (or adult) would fall in love with. He is strong, kind, & consistent. We all love Billy. Billy will only be offered to the right family who needs a teacher, confidence builder, and/or consistent winner. Billy is one in a million.

"J.J." is a super all around speed event horse and doubles as a babysitter/teacher. He is a winner at barrels, straights, and poles.
He is super gentle, quiet and easy to ride. He is gentle enough for a beginner and will rate his speed to help take care of the rider. He will babysit a beginner in any event, step up to the 3D with a novice, or take his rider to the top of the 2D's if he or she is ready to go to the next level. He has plenty of speed for the advanced rider. He is capable of running 21's in poles and 8's in straights. He is not a barrel hitter and has a super automatic pattern in all events! He is very attractive, friendly, and fun to be around. He is TOO much fun to ride bareback with the sweetest rocking chair lop to keep any rider aboard. The grandkids and their friends crawl up his back legs and use his tail to "rock climb" up on him without the help of an adult! He will stand at the gate, fence, tailgate or anywhere for his rider to climb aboard. He is 14.1 hands with a stocky, easy to keep build. He bathes, ties and hauls well.
UPDATES:
*2007 rodeo season: J.J. earns a check in every run in barrels and poles that our granddaughter, Tori, has taken him to. His consistency and speed are paying off for her!
*2007 NBHA District 17: *J.J. brings home the money again securing our 8 year old granddaughter the reserve champion belt buckle in the 2007 NBHA District 17 3D Youth Barrels title!

*2006: J.J. brings home the points needed for the NBHA 2D saddle for our 15 year old grandson, Levi.

Email from J.J.'s new family:
"Hello Mr. Foster and Family
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! We wanted to thank you Mr. Foster for meeting us in Shreve Port LA. because of that we got to stop and rest for a while:) We also wanted to let you know J.J. did fine on his trip to Florida;) We did end up hitting a lot of rain so we really appreciate that blanket! He loaded and unloaded several times and was very quiet despite the long trip;) He is settling in here and enjoyed another ligament massage after his trip;) This morning he met Gabriella his new owner :) She was so excited !!!!!! We asked her Christmas Eve what she really really wanted. She said J.J. We then asked her how Santa would get him here seeing as how he is so big and is all the way in Texas she replied well.............he can HAVE HIM FLOWN HERE ON A AIR PLANE then she giggled. She woke up at least four times to check to see if there was a new horse in the barn;) Then woke up at six a.m. and read SANTA'S NOTE, and like lighting, bolted out of the house towards the trailer, were she found J.J tied wearing her new barrel saddle;) She then rode him out front to show the family her NEW BARREL HORSE (such a big girl;)!! He was awesome with her she was sitting up so straight shoulders back taking him and turning him through every hedge and tree she could find with the biggest grin I have ever seen on her face;) So far they seem really good together;) I will send some pictures shortly;)
Thank you again we will keep you posted on their progress;)"

Artabecomitted
(AKA "ABC")
Barrel/Pole Horse

DOB: 03-08-1991
Color: Chestnut
Sex: Mare
Height: 14.3 1/2 hands
Registered: American Jockey Club #9130349

If you are looking for a step-up barrel and pole horse or one to start on, this may be the one. She is very gentle and calm acting in all her activities. She is quiet in the alley, no issues, walks, trolts, lopes on cue and she is easy to be around. She rates and turns the cans very easy, has plenty of speed, just about as automatic as one can get. She has no known vices, loads, hauls, etc. with ease. Who every gets this mare will fall in love with her. It is hard to find hores that most anyone can ride. I think anyone with basic riding skills will love this mare.
